Financial Planning

“It is our belief that a successful retirement is not dictated by your wealth, but by your life. Ultimately, the value of your wealth is relative to your wants and needs. To that end, it is our mission to try to understand your life goals and help you chart a course that will allow you to use your resources to live the life that you desire.”

If so, we will dive deeper and ask a boat load of questions as we try to discover as much about you and your family as possible. You will undoubtedly do most of the talking as we try to understand your values, your hobbies, your interests, your goals, and the most important people in you and your family’s lives. You can be certain that we will also discuss your assets, liabilities, cash flows, tax situation, estate plan and much, much more. We will defer any discussion of investment management to a later session—at this stage, it is more important that we get to know you and understand your situation as best as we can. After our first meeting, we typically request documents to support the information gleaned during our introduction and discovery session.

Important Notice:

We work hard to take as much weight off of your shoulders as possible so that you may focus your time and energy on enjoying life and/or retirement. That said, this is a without a doubt a collaborative effort. From time to time, there will be tasks and/or assignments that you will need to complete for this to be a successful partnership. This includes (but is not limited to) regular meetings, providing supporting financial information, tax returns, statements, etc. Some of these items will require promptness and will need to be completed on your time between meetings.
